For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope
— Jeremiah 29:11

I woke up with this heavy on my heart.
I used not speak up about mental health because I depended on someone with a bigger platform or a bigger voice would just do it for me. My voice matters and so does yours. Even if it’s just for one person.
In the wake of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain suicide, I want to extend a hand to those that feel they don’t have anyone to talk to or just listen. When celebrities committed suicide, I used to be very shocked because I thought they had everything; the fame, the money, the resources to do what ever they wanted! None of that matters if you aren't taking care of you mental health.  Don't ever feel bad about not knowing why you're sad. I have those days and what usually helps me is talking to God, asking him to just protect my mind and watch over my soul. Also  listening to music, talking to my mom.
You have to understand that your “Right Now” and future are better with God than without him.  Don’t make a permanent decision to a temporary solution. You have people that love you and would like to see you live until God calls on you. So to all the young kids out there, talk to someone, talk to your parents. That's something I wish I did. We all go through difficult things life and it really does get better! Remember that you are LOVE and will always be loved by God first, FLAWS AND ALL.

You matter. Your life matters.
Take care of yourselves and each other.
